Wilfried Zaha attracts interest from Premier League front runners after recent form

Wilfried Zaha has been the shining light in what has been a hard season for Crystal Palace thus far.

Wilfried Zaha has been instrumental in Crystal Palace's resurgence as of late, where they have managed to net 15 goals having failed to score in the first 7 games.

Zaha impressed again this weekend with a superb performance including a well-taken goal in his side's 3-0 win over Leicester that took Roy Hodgson's men outside the relegation zone for the first time since August.

The Ivory Coast worldwide, who has also won caps for England before opting for the country of his birth, enjoyed his best ever season last term, scoring seven times and assisting 11 goals as Palace won their battle against relegation.

According to the Daily Mirror, Manchester City are lining up a bid for Wilfried Zaha and that should give Tottenham Hotspur further incentive to wrap up a deal quickly. The tabloid claim that the Blues are toying with the idea of looking to sign Zaha in the January transfer window.

He pleaded guilty to misconduct involving weapons charge for possessing a weapon while intoxicated. Police say Track then went inside and climbed up onto the roof from an upstairs window.

He was loaned to Cardiff and then back to Palace during David Moyes and Louis van Gaal's reigns at Old Trafford.

The Ivorian was made a permanent addition to the Eagles squad for an undisclosed fee in 2014.

However Zaha only signed a new five-year deal in May so it's unlikely Palace will even consider the offer in January, particularly with their Premier League status hanging in the balance.

The Ivory Coast global, who has also won caps for England before opting to represent his birth country, enjoyed the best season of his career so far last term, scoring seven times and marking up 11 assists as Palace escaped relegation.
