Chelsea's chances of retaining the Premier League title are slim given Manchester City 's record-breaking run that has left the Blues16 points adrift of the leaders.

The year 2017 has been a remarkable one for Nigerian worldwide, Victor Moses, and he had a befitting climax on Saturday with his London club, Chelsea.

"We are doing the best that we can and we are not going to give up the Premier League easily, we are still in the race".

The 2013 African Nations Cup victor also hopes to close in on Marcos Alonso's goals and assists tally and this term. Alonso and Eden Hazard are tied for second on the team with five goals.

"We need to have all my players in the best form, and we know very well in January will be a hard time because of the games, and in February the Champions League starts again, so I need all my players at the top of their game".

"Manchester City have created a big gap between them and the other teams, but we have to put all of ourselves into every game and to put a bit of pressure on teams above us".

Gay activists troll Vice President Pence with sign: 'Make America gay again'
Pitkin County Sheriff Joe DiSalvo told The Aspen Times that a deputy was there when a neighbor put out the banner. In 2007, Pence spoke against a bill that would protect gays and lesbians from discrimination in the workplace.

Chelsea will be looking at leapfrogging Manchester United into second place when they entertain Stoke City in the Premier League on Saturday.

But this season so far has been probably the worst of Sparky's 4.5-year stint in the Potteries (incidentally, that's the 11th longest tenure among the 92 clubs of the Premier League and the Football League).

"You can see in the games that we have six goals with [Cesar Azpilicueta] passing to Alvaro [Morata] and it is another option for us". If you compare this season with last season, we have conceded less goals.

"I am very happy to work with my players".

"Today, we finished a great year for us - for the club, for the fans, for the players, for me". César Azpilicueta is having arguably his best season and has helped solidify the Chelsea backline. They played out a 1-1 draw against Huddersfield at the Kirklees Stadium on Tuesday and after 20 games this season, they've only managed to accumulate 20 points to their name.
