LeBron James second behind Giannis in first All-Star returns

It should be noted that while Antetokounmpo is the leader in Eastern Conference votes through the first round of voting, there are still two more rounds for James to erase his current 7,336-vote deficit.

Bucks star Giannis Antetokoumpo holds a slim lead over five-time MVP LeBron James after the first returns with almost 900,000 votes, and he already knows who he wants if he finishes on top - but not for anything to do with the game itself.

In the West, Durant is joined at the top of the frontcourt by two members of the New Orleans Pelicans, Anthony Davis (393,000) and DeMarcus Cousins (356,340).

Under a new All-Star Game format, the player who receives the most votes in the Eastern Conference and Western Conference will each serve as a captain and will choose teams from the pool of players voted in as starters and reserves.

Caitlyn Jenner opens up about everything on Piers Morgan's Life Stories
Piers asked whether she didn't trust the Kardashians , Caitlyn said: "Of course not - of course I didn't trust them, yeah". Caitlyn has always been around in my life but she always lived inside". "It's not that big a deal", she added.

There will be three frontcourt players and two guards chosen for each starting lineup, meaning Embiid now has a decent chance of starting in the game.

The voting result is an indicator of the Antetokounmpo's stellar performance for the Bucks who are now fifth in the Eastern Conference. Four-time All-Star Kyrie Irving of the Boston Celtics leads among East guards with 802,834 votes, followed by three-time All-Star DeMar DeRozan of the Toronto Raptors (259,368) and Victor Oladipo of the Indiana Pacers (251,886).

Klay Thompson and Draymond Green received 359,442 and 325,612 votes respectively. The team rosters will be revealed on January 25. Voting will conclude at 10:59 p.m.

But Simmons' sister Olivia took to Twitter on Wednesday in an effort to boost his chances of becoming the first Australian-raised National Basketball Association player to make an all-star game.
