Third-party hardware accessory manufacturer Mad Catz is back in the game

Gaming peripheral maker Mad Catz has announced that it will be returning to business, and the first three products in its revamped lineup will be showed off at this year's CES event.

One of Mad Catz initial downfalls was its expansive lineup of products, many of which did not perform as expected.

Today, the company announced in a press release that it is "back in the game", and running "under new management, with new ideas, new attitude and most importantly, an entire range of new, high-quality gaming products".

Leading the pack is a wireless version of the user-adjustable Rat mouse called the Air, which rocks a similar battlebot-like appearance to earlier versions of the gaming mouse, but can operate cable-free.

Cardinals' Carson Palmer announces retirement in open letter to fans
Palmer announced his retirement from the National Football League on Tuesday, the Cardinals' official site reports. Long-time receivers coach Tyke Tolbert and special teams coordinator Brock Olivo also were let go.

Anyway the mouse sounds pretty interesting as it offers wireless performance via power obtained directly from its gaming surface - i.e. fancy mouse-pad.

"They're absolutely not going after the commodities side of the market", Verrey said, adding that the new Mad Catz will not look to release expensive accessories that gamers do not really want to purchase. More information about all three products will be revealed at CES. PricewaterhouseCoopers took over as trustee of the Mad Catz Interactive estate and presumably oversaw the further liquidation of assets and subsidiaries. The S.T.R.I.K.E. 4 keyboard is a fully mechanical affair with an aluminum frame and customizable lighting.

We'll get our hands-on with these new peripherals when we're on the ground in Las Vegas next week at CES 2018. Finally, Mad Catz is also coming out with the F.R.E.Q.4 headset. Mad Catz has been a permanent fixture in gaming for nearly three decades and we firmly believe its best days lie ahead, ' claims Selena Chang, Mad Catz' incoming director of sales and operations. Mad Catz seem to be squaring up against Logitech's equivalent wireless charging PowerPlay mice and mats with this model.
