Actor Jerry Van Dyke Dies at 86

Van Dyke's manager, John Castonia, said Van Dyke's wife, Shirley Ann Jones, was by his side.

Jerry Van Dyke, the famed comedian and younger brother of actor Dick Van Dyke, died Friday afternoon, according to the New York Times.

We're told Dick visited them at the ranch over the Christmas holiday.

It's said that the actor's health has been on the decline since being involved in a serious auto accident about two-years ago.

The brother of actor Dick Van Dyke, Jerry - who possessed the same likability - even made guest appearances on "The Dick Van Dyke Show", playing the star's brother.
