Man dies in explosion outside Stockholm subway

Stockholm County Police said a man, reportedly aged 60, had been hurt after picking an object off the ground.

A 45-year-old woman was also hospitalized, but her condition is unknown.

A man and a woman were injured near a Stockholm subway station Sunday after the man picked up an unidentified object from the ground that detonated in his hand, Swedish police said. The couple had been cycling past the device when the man stopped to investigate it. "I don't dare imagine what would have happened if one or several children had found the hand grenade".

Police declined to confirm that report, for which the newspaper named no sources. "He has been taken to hospital".

The blast occurred mid-morning at the Varby gard station in Huddinge, a southern suburb of the Swedish capital.

Police patrols will remain in the area throughout Sunday night and Monday, with the municipality offering crisis counseling to local residents. "But we will have to wait for the technical investigation", the spokesman said, adding that a murder investigation had been launched.

Mad Catz seem to be squaring up against Logitech's equivalent wireless charging PowerPlay mice and mats with this model. One of Mad Catz initial downfalls was its expansive lineup of products, many of which did not perform as expected.
