According to Sky Sports, the club are interested in making a deal for Paris Saint-Germain winger Lucas Moura.

Any deal for Moura would end Mourinho's long hunt to bring a wide attacker to Old Trafford, with a deal for Ivan Perisic failing to get over the line during the summer.

The 25-year-old is on Jose Mourinho's shortlist as the United manager looks to bolster his attacking options in the January transfer window.

Italian newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport (h/t Metro) reported the Ligue 1 leaders want £35 million for the winger, but the Red Devils wish to initially take the player on loan.

The crucial line of the article written by Juliano Costa and Leonardo Lourenço is that: "Behind the scenes in Sao Paulo, the information circulating is that the Brazilian could be on his way to the English club for €25 million".

The likes of Neymar, Julian Draxler, Kylian Mbappe and Angel Di Maria are all ahead of him in the pecking order so it's no surprise that Moura has been eyeing a move in order to rejuvenate his career.

Moura has not started a Ligue 1 game for the French giants this season and has played for just over an hour from the bench in his six appearances.

"[Juventus president Andrea] Agnelli is a good friend but I can tell you that Dybala, at the moment, is not the key to PSG's future".

Lucas Moura to Manchester United refuses to die.

The 25-year-old's spot in Tite's 23-man Brazil squad would be under major threat if he can not show his talents and level of performance off and any chance of regular starts with PSG are minimal at best.
