Mesut Ozil agrees new £350k per week Arsenal deal

Arsenal have allayed fears over star playmaker Mesut Ozil's future by tying him down to a new three-and-a-half-year contract, making him the highest paid player at the club.

The Gunners have already lost Alexis Sanchez to Manchester United and there were fears that the Germany global could also follow the Chilean to Old Trafford when his contract expires.

All this comes with the news that Aubameyang has officially been announced as an Arsenal player via the club's Twitter feed and website.

Amid growing speculation of a new contract at Arsenal, Ozil tweeted: 'Had a busy day signing things'.

Ozil, whose current deal runs out in June this year has been in negotiations for months over a new deal and will earn €350,000-per-week. The MLS outfit have maintained their interest in him, however and it is understood he has agreed a deal with them to join them ahead of the new season Stateside in March.

Fitzgerald's financial conflicts of interest also stem beyond her investment in Big Tobacco. "The Secretary thanks Dr. The department of health cited Dr Fitzgerald's "complex financial arrangements" in a statement.

"Our intention is to keep Ozil at the club", Wenger said.

Joining the Gunners from Madrid in 2013 for a transfer fee of £42m, Ozil quickly became a fan favourite at the Emirates stadium, whilst his form this term has been impressive, scoring four goals and creating six in his 21 appearances.

Mesut Ozil has apparently seen Arsenal's statement of intent to contend for league and European titles in the future.

"But we aren't close enough to tell you yes, he will stay".
