Get a first glimpse at Solo

Get a first glimpse at Solo

Following yesterday's Super Bowl spot, Disney and Lucasfilm have revealed the first official teaser for Solo: A Star Wars Story.

Is Alden Ehrenreich the Han Solo we've all been waiting for? He was kicked out of the flight academy for being unique and having a mind of his own.

Solo, well before the events of "Star Wars: A New Hope", also talks of one day becoming the best pilot "in the galaxy".

The trailer also showed appearances from Emilia Clarke as Kira, Woody Harrelson as Beckett, and Donald Glover as Lando Calrissian. She says, "I may be the only person who knows what you are". It's by no means bad, but it's very clearly not the same Han Solo we grew up watching. The last few years alone have brought us "Rogue One" and the first two movies of the final trilogy in the core saga, "The Force Awakens" and "The Last Jedi". You can never make Chewbacca look or sound different as he will always be a furry Wookie.

That's our first look at Thandie Newton's character, who looks to be part of the "crew" that Han and Chewbacca join.

Janet Jackson will not perform in Super Bowl halftime show
It's been fourteen years since we have seen either Janet Jackson or Justin Timberlake perform at the Super Bowl halftime show . In related news, Timberlake released his latest album " Man of The Woods " just earlier this week on February 2.

The movie had a rough production.

Though initially directed by Phil Lord and Christopher Miller (The Lego Movie), the studio replaced the filmmaking pair with Ron Howard following creative differences during the shoot.

"Star Wars" fans, meet the young Han Solo.

Han Solo, a legendary character from the original Star Wars films, has got a spin-off totally dedicated to him.

Could those be the beldon of Bespin (glimpsed in Star Wars Battlefront II?) Fans won't have long to find out, as Solo: A Star Wars Story is out May 25.
