The Denver Nuggets dump Emmanuel Mudiay in exchange for experience

While Denver spent a lottery pick on Mudiay in the 2015 NBA Draft, they clearly felt he wasn't going to be successful in a Nuggets uniform.

The Denver Nuggets have acquired guard Devin Harris from Dallas and a 2018 second round draft pick from NY in a three-team trade.

The deal would send point guard Devin Harris to the Nuggets and sharp-shooting forward Doug McDermott to the Mavs, who will also acquire a second-round pick via Denver, according to Shams Charania of The Vertical. To sort it all out, here are the latest NBA Trade Grades. He is averaging 8.5 points in 17.9 minutes per game this season. Harris, who turns 35 later this month, has been Dallas's backup point guard since he was reacquired in 2013.

Mudiay has averaged career lows in points and minutes per game thus far this season, and has taken a back seat role to break-out point guard Jamaal Murray.

Denver, though, kept more players than it dealt on a deadline day with mixed results.

Speaking about longtime collaborator Jackson (Jones produced Thriller ), the record producer also called the king of pop "greedy". He also shouts out Bruno Mars, Ed Sheehan, Sam Smith , and Mark Ronson , who " knows how to produce".

Wojnarowski added that the trade also involved a swapping of second-round picks between the Nuggets and the Knicks.

Mudiay, the Nuggets' 2015 lottery pick, never developed into a consistent National Basketball Association point guard during his time in Denver. He missed a few games with the "Did Not Play - Coach's Decision" designation.

Harris should help a Nuggets team that sits sixth in the Western Conference with a 29-26 record.

Mudiay has not spoken to the news media in Denver all season.
