Holi is once again turning streets, parks and other public places into explosions of music and colour as the celebrations roll on. To celebrate, friends and families join together to sing, dance, eat delicacies, light bonfires, and paint each other with brightly coloured powders and dyes. In his latest post on Twitter, Shahenshah Amitabh Bachchan shared the pictures of the family while celebrating Holi and wrote: "the Holika has been burnt and the prayers done. the "tilak" colours put. and the special sweetmeat for the occasion "gujiya" consumed".

The dancing dhol figures are a heavy component of the fest, as players move house to house banging upbeat tunes on drums. "And since Pharrell will be in the city on the day of Holi (March 2), what could be better than bringing Ranveer, him and Holi together?"

From then on, the festival also known as Holi is celebrated by smearing colours with enjoyment. Delhi Police said it had made proper arrangements in case of any hooliganism during the celebrations, requesting the people to obey rules for safe celebration and stay away from drunken driving.
