Two new versions of Snapchat Spectacles coming this fall

It has been reported that Snap will launch a new version of their smart Spectacles this year. This is because Snap wants to position itself more as an eyewear company. Apart from two new versions, the first version is being tested out and could be up for purchase very soon in the market.

But a new report from Cheddar has surprised some with news that Snap is working on a refresh of their hardware´set to launch later this year, as well as a two-camera version planned for 2019.

According to a report by Cheddar, the first pair will be equipped with a single camera and focus on improving quality.

Most were under the impression that Snap had moved on but that apparently isn't the case. The new spectacles will be resistant.

For those that remember his brief and unsuccessful spell at Chelsea , these statistics make for interesting reading. Liverpool FC will return to Premier League action on Saturday evening when they host Newcastle United at Anfield.

A Snap spokesperson declined to comment. However, this edition will not have a different hardware functionality, it would acquire the same design as the 2016 edition of specs.

Snap Spectacles were an interesting concept, putting a basic camera into sunglasses and allowing you to quickly capture and upload events around you to Snapchat. Snap is supposedly talking to major glasses companies, including Luxottica and Warby Parker, in an effort to license its camera technology.

The company plans to sell fewer sets of the glasses, according to the report, after failing to sell through inventory on its first generation. If Spectacles actually look as cool as Snapchat makes them out to be, then maybe they'll find themselves on more faces.
