New change number feature to roll out soon

That being said, according to WABetaInfo, this option is now only available to those who are using beta version 2.18.97 of WhatsApp for Android.

It seems only the WhatsApp for Android beta has gotten hold of the refreshed Change Number tool.

WhatsApp is now making it possible for you to let your contacts know when you have changed your phone number. Now, the company is testing a feature that lets you notify your contacts about change of your number.

Whatsapp on Friday sent out a new feature in a Beta update that will enable iOS, Android and Windows Phone users change their number and get back all their data of previous number without any inconvenience. Now, this brings you the Notify My Contacts options where you choose from namely All Contacts, Contacts I have chats with or Custom options and complete the migration process. Do note that all that all groups that the user is a part of will be notified regardless. "This deletes the problem of duplicated chats", WABetaInfo has tweeted highlighting the feature.

Six-time MLB All-Star Rusty Staub dies at 73
He tied a major league league with 25 pinch-hit RBI and is the only player ever to have 500 hits with four different teams. He was obtained by the Mets before the 1972 season and once gain became an instant fan favorite out in right field.

WhatsApp offers end-to-end encryption for messages, which means it's harder for others to see the conversations you have. It will come in iOS and Windows devices later. To notify your WhatsApp contacts about the change of your WhatsApp number, all you have to do is toggle on the button that's provided right next to the "Notify my contacts" option under the "Change Number" settings.

It should be noted that blocked WhatsApp contacts won't be told about the new number.

You can enter any mobile number on Chatwatch to check the login and logout time, and also the online history timeline of users. Now that it's in beta, the feature may come to the stable build soon.

We all use WhatsApp, more than we use the smartphone for anything else.
