Masters sleeper pick dislocates ankle celebrating hole-in-one, keeps playing

Finau, ranked No. 34 in the world, ended up withdrawing from the event but stuck around for the final two holes.

Finau continued to wave to the crowd as he hobbled back up the green before waving to his family to join him in the celebrations.

With all of the buildup surrounding this year's Masters, much thanks to Tiger Woods' first trip to Augusta in three years, this year's Par 3 contest was so much more fun and exciting to watch.

Nicklaus' grandson, Gary, was caddying for him during the event and made a decision to step up to the tee on the eighth hole.

But Watson's victory wasn't the only excitement in the group: Jack needed a hole in one on the 9th to tie Watson, but wasn't able to.

He said: "What I did doesn't make any difference to me". The legendary trio turned back the clock and shot a combined 11-under par on Wednesday, the lowest score coming from Watson, who finished with a six-under 21. "It was a very special day, one I'll never forget". "I said, 'Wouldn't it be nice to win?' I won it along time ago, and of course I didn't go on to win the tournament that year".

"Seeing Tom at 68 putting the way he did was just a joy, and Jack at 78 shooting 4-under par, it was a day I'll never forget, " Player said.
