Hargreaves: Bayern are Champions League favourites

On Wednesday, they play host to Sevilla in the second leg of their European quarter-final tie - which they now lead 2-1 - while Bayer Leverkusen will be their opponents in the domestic cup tie on April 17.

Sevilla made a better fist of things at a raucous Sánchez Pizjuán, with Pablo Sarabia giving them a first-half lead before Jesús Navas' own goal and Thiago Alcantara's victor gave Bayern a 2-1 advantage to take back to Bavaria.

Bayern coach Jupp Heynckes expects Sevilla to attack from the first whistle in Munich.

Navas made a goal-saving challenge at right-back when Thomas Muller slid a low ball towards Ribery at the back post, but a last-ditch tackle by Rafinha on Sarabia in the final minute of the half underlined Bayern's continued unease.

"He's used all his experience at this level, he's a great man manager and all the players love him", Hargreaves told BT Sport when asked about Heynckes.

It means prime minister Theresa May and president Donald Trump will not attend the ceremony at Windsor Castle . She's taking the grandmother of a 15-year-old who died in the attack as her guest.

Jupp Heynckes came out of retirement in October for a fourth spell in charge of Bayern Munich.

He added: "Sevilla are in the last chance saloon and a unsafe team".

The Bundesliga outfit take a slender 2-1 lead into tonight's second leg with Sevilla.

Team news! First up Bayern! .

After a goalless draw in Seville in the last 16, the Spanish side dumped Jose Mourinho's United out with a 2-1 win at Old Trafford last month, with French striker Wissam Ben Yedder netting both goals. Since that time however, they've failed to win a single game in all competitions and are (1.03) not to keep a clean sheet here. What's more is that they have scored 67 goals in those games, an average of 3.5 goals per game.
