Motorola 'Moto G6' series leaked ahead of launch

The Moto G6 Plus carries the most advanced and premium specifications if we compare it to other two Moto G6 series smartphones. All three phones will be available in Brazil at launch, Mexico next week, and Asia Pacific, Europe and Latin America in the coming weeks. It is available in Indigo and Gold color variants.

RAM: The Moto G6 Play comes with 2GB and 3GB RAM options.

Plus version, Moto E5 Play also has water repellant coating.

The most affordable of the Moto G6-series, the Moto G6 Play sports a 5.7-inch HD+ screen.

"The Moto G6 comes standard with an HD 5.7" display, a Snapdragon 450 processor and a range of both RAM (3 GB or 4 GB) and storage (32 GB or 64 GB). Connectivity features are 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2 LE, NFC (in single SIM variant only), and 3.5mm audio jack.

While the G6 Play has a 5.7-inch display, its screen resolution has been cut down to 720p.

Armed with Android Oreo operating system, the E5 Play comes in Snapdragon 425/427 processors with Adreno 308 GPU and 2 GB RAM.

Storage: 32GB, expandable up to 128GB via microSD card.

For photography, Moto G6 Plus has two cameras on the back including a 12-megapixel sensor and 5-megapixel sensor.

Inside is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 427 processor. It boasts 3GB of RAM and 32GB of inbuilt storage that is further upgradable to 128GB with a micro-SD card. For miscellaneous features, it has Bluetooth v5.0, 3.5mm jack, Wi-Fi, etc. The smartphone features a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera. There's reasonably good connectivity here with dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooh 4.2 and Global Positioning System.

In this comparison section, the Moto E5 Plus and the Redmi 5 stand on similar grounds with the same SoC but the Moto E5 Plus packs better battery and runs on the latest Android 8.0 Oreo OS.

Rear Camera: Dual-rear cameras - 13MP + 5 MP, f/1.8 aperture, LED Flash, Video recording up to 1080p @ 60fps.

Display: 6-inch, HD+ resolution (1440 × 720 pixels), 18:9 aspect ratio. It comes with 64GB inbuilt storage space that is upgradable with a micro-SD card.

E5 Plus will have a 12MP main camera with f/2.0 with autofocus by laser technology and LED flash. The phone can last all day with the 3000mAh battery but should you need to charge it, the turbo power charger is enough to juice up for a few minutes. The panel is a 5.7-inch IPS LCD. Xiaomi's Redmi 5 now retails at Rs. 7,999 for the 16GB storage version and Rs. 8,999 for the 32GB storage variant.
