Travel the world and get paid to do it

Travel the world and get paid to do it

Instead of lifeguarding or scooping ice cream, Icelandic budget airline WOW Air wants a summer employee who is willing to travel the world.

The successful candidates would move to Iceland from 1 of June until the 15 of August, where they would receive a monthly salary and would be residing in an apartment in downtown Reykjavik.

If hired, you'll live in Iceland for three months, travel across North America and Europe, and write about your adventures for WOW Air.

Their content, which will include videos, gifs and blog posts, will be posted to a section on the Wow Air website called Travel Guide. Oh, and the job pays $4,550 a month. The candidates would have to explore the food, culture, nightlife, nature destinations, and the best ways to travel and discover ways to travel on a budget of the countries they explore. In addition, the travel guide will get to bring a friend to accompany them on their summer journey.

So, grab those video cameras and head outside and show them why you should land this truly Dream Job (and if you need a "travel buddy" to join you, send me an email). The video needs to be shorter than 2 minutes.

The deadline to submit your entry is May 14, and the winners will be announced on social media on May 18.

The destination options will range from upcoming routes to vibrant USA cities including New York, Dallas and Cleveland, to historic European capitals including Copenhagen and Paris, or sunny isles such as Gran Canaria or Tel Aviv. The lucky victor will be announced on May 18th and your travel mission will begin on June 1st and end on August 15th.

Sainsbury's in merger talks with Walmart UK unit
It is understood that any investigation by the CMA would only be announced once an intention to merge was formally unveiled. The enlarged supermarket group would have almost 3,000 stores and annual sales of more than £50bn.
