JEE Mains 2018 exam| Results to be declared tomorrow

Mains 2018 result will be declared today by the Central Board of Secondary Education.

Students who have scored the required cut off will now appear for JEE Advanced scheduled on May 20.

The latest offering Google has for the Indian market is the ability for students to look up their exam scores for competitive exams directly, eliminating the need of the previously used slow and unreliable websites that were used earlier. Around 8.57 lakh students took up the offline exam and 2.16 lakh appeared for the online exam. The exams were conducted at 1621 centres (1613 in India and 8 abroad) in 112 cities (104 in India and 8 abroad), as per CBSE's press release.

In Ranchi, a senior official of FIITJEE Ranchi A.K. Datta said DPS-Ranchi boy Prateek Prawar ranked at 96 and Ramgarh boy Harshit Agarwal ranked at 122 were among the 416 students from their centre to clear JEE Mains.

This year, around 10,43,739 candidates appeared for JEE Main 2018. This entrance examination was the 6th edition of JEE (Main) 2018 examination.

JEE 1st paper result will be released on April 30 and JEE 2nd paper result will be released on May 31.

It is often been seen that students face lots of confusion and difficulty while checking the JEE Main Result 2018. The JEE Main 2018 online mode was held on April 15 and 16, 2018. The candidates will also be able to download their rank cards.

According to reports, the results were supposed to be declared at 11 am, however, there was a delay in the announcement of the exam results.

Students will be ranked on the basis of their JEE Mains 2018 score and there will be no weightage for Class 12 marks, unlike a year ago.
