'US Embassy' Road Signs Installed in Jerusalem

USA ambassador to Israel David Friedman, Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin, the president's daughter and son-in-law Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner, and special representative for global negotiations Jason Greenblatt will also attend.

Other participants, the statement said, will include Secretary of the Treasury Steve Mnuchin, Deputy Secretary of State John Sullivan, and Jason Greenblatt, Trump's special envoy to the Middle East peace process.

Jerusalem is the eternal capital of the Jewish people - and the world is beginning to recognize this fact!

Recall, 6 December 2017, the US President, Donald trump has officially recognized Jerusalem as Israel's capital and ordered the transfer of the American Embassy. The new embassy has been build at a very short notice - spread over several months and costs far less than the over United States dollars 1 billion as was initially proposed, according to previous statements of Trump.

At the consulate site, mechanical diggers cleared scrubland as workers posted embassy signs along city roads and hung U.S., Israeli and Jerusalem flags from street lights.

Jerusalem's city hall says it has put up road signs pointing to the new U.S. Embassy, which is set to move to the contested city next week.

The Fed holds interest rates steady
Against a basket of currencies, the dollar index was trading at 92.569, after reaching the highest since late December at 92.834. It highlighted firm corporate investment figures, while acknowledging that household spending growth had slowed recently.

The global community largely recognizes Tel Aviv as Israel's capital.

Earlier this week, Amnesty International UK also condemned the launch of the race right next to East Jerusalem al-Quds where Palestinians regularly face house demolitions, illegal settlement building and restrictions of movement. The Palestinian leadership and most of the global community consider East Jerusalem as occupied territory and the future capital of a sovereign Palestinian state.

The status of Jerusalem is among the most contentious in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

Trump said last week that he "may" go to Jerusalem for the opening himself.

I am proud and moved to hand this sign this morning, one of the first prepared by the US Embassy which will open next week in Jerusalem.
