The cancellation was expected as the show's ratings had plummeted over the past year. Quantico, in its abbreviated third run, had brought middling ratings returns. Plus, it was logistically hard to continue with the show as the production took place in Toronto, the writers' room is situated Los Angeles, and creator David Guggenheim is based in NY. There are just so many creative shows in the production already that the moment one goes off air, another one is ready to take it's position.

The series is the first to come out of Gordon's independent banner outside of ABC Studios, with the latter set as the lead producer on the show.

The Fashion star has won Favourite Actress in a New TV Series (2016) and Favourite Dramatic TV Actress (2017) for her impeccable performance.

Priyanka Chopra starrer Quantico, which is now in its third season has been cancelled by the network along with another show, Designated Survivor starrer Keifer Sutherland.
