Woman Physically Assaulted by Police Officer on the Beach

Police on Wednesday released bodycam video of a wild Memorial Day weekend arrest of a woman on a beach.

The 20-year-old woman now faces several charges, including aggravated assault on a police officer.

Moments before the beachgoer is pushed to the ground and repeatedly punched, the officer tells her that she's "about to get dropped". "Once the officer says "you're under arrest", he has to continue with that arrest". "They're choking me. I can not breathe". "But when you're doing it and someone is actively resisting arrest, you don't always hit your intended target", Regalbuto said. "She tried to tell us it was okay for her to possess alcohol and that doesn't make any sense". She's heard telling officers it belongs to her aunt before she's given a breathalyzer test twice and asked her age and name.

As the second officer holds her legs steady, a third approaches to control the gathering crowd.

Wildwood posted three video clips of the incident to YouTube.

"She tried kicking at us, so I slammed her on the ground", the officer later tells his supervisor, after the woman has been tackled, handcuffed and shoved into the back of a police auto.

Who would have thought an underage beach drinking sweep could turn so messy?

"This matter is still under investigation, however, in an effort to insure transparency with the public we serve, it was imperative that this video be released as soon as feasibly possible", Wildwood police said in a statement.

Oil prices fall as Russia, US look to boost supplies
The fall in prices of oil for drivers has been welcome news as it has been for companies that purchase large amounts of energy. The global sulfur limit on fuel oil will be set at 0.5% m/m (mass/mass) in 2020 down from the 3.5% m/m current global limits.

The body camera footage released Wednesday afternoon shows an officer as he confronts and argues with Weinman over the discovery of alcoholic iced tea drinks in her possession. She chose to attack the officer, spit on the officer.

The Cape May Prosecutor's Office is investigating, and the officers involved have been put on administrative duty pending an internal affairs investigation.

A video that's now gone viral shows a Wildwood police officer punching Weinman during the arrest. "At that point, the police officer did what he had to do", Troiano said.

"My daughter is right here seeing this", she said.

"The number of people who think she got what she deserved is appalling", Dicht said.

Meanwhile, Police Chief Robert Regalbuto told the newspaper: "From what I see on the video and only on the video, from not even talking to the officers, I think they did a decent job".

A court date was set for June 6, though Dicht said it will probably be rescheduled for an unknown date.
