National Football League player on the hook for $10 million bill after tweet

Randall will be buying a lot of jerseys if the Cavs end up winning, as his message has already registered over 80 thousand retweets.

"Do I get a trophy?"

Though some fans understood Randall has no obligation to root for the Cleveland teams, others were not pleased.

Randall certainly didn't expect his tweet to go viral like this, although any time a professional athlete offers free giveaways, there's a good chance people will buy in, especially on social media. He said he relates to Curry's story of overcoming injuries. He said he's a fan of James, too, and he would have cheered for the Cavs if they had been matched up against the Houston Rockets in the Finals instead of the Warriors.

Subtropical Storm Alberto forms; watches issued for U.S., Mexico, Cuba
But the broad storm system is expected to bring heavy rains across the entire northern Gulf Coast starting well before landfall. Tropical storm warnings are in effect from the Mississippi/ Alabama border all the way through to Bonita Beach, Florida.

After the Browns posted a 1-15 record during the 2016 season, Jackson famously said that the team would not go 1-15 again or he would jump into Lake Erie.

It's one thing to underestimate the city of Cleveland as a fan base. I think he has a love and a respect for Curry, obviously. Also, Randall's boast could prove expensive, but the 25-year-old did not specify which jersey he'd purchase. He would still need to pay more than $20 million for the order, not to mention find a way for everyone who retweeted him to actually obtain his or her jersey. A former second-round pick, Randall is entering the fourth year of a four-year, $7.9 million rookie contract. Like I said, I think it was all done in fun. When he's going against Steph, I would rather Steph over LeBron. "We're just going to watch the series and see how everything folds out".

With Game 1 of the NBA Finals set for Thursday night in Oakland, California, Randall has said he intends to be courtside when the series comes to Cleveland for Games 3 and 4 next week. He added he hasn't been able to check Twitter on his phone because of all the notifications.
