Rumors hint at three Samsung Galaxy S10 models

Operating profit for the three-month period is expected to come in at 14.8 trillion won ($13 billion) from 58 trillion won (£39bn) in revenues.

Most notably, it's reported that the Gear S4 (the name of which will be changed to Galaxy Watch) will be powered by Wear OS, formally called Android Wear.

Samsung hasn't commented, but back in April warned that its mobile business would see "stagnant sales of flagship models amid weak demand and an increase in marketing expenses" in the second quarter.

Revenue likely came in at 58 trillion won ($51 billion), a decrease of almost 5 percent from a year earlier.

Samsung Electronics is now hoping for its upcoming Galaxy X to improve its profit following the sluggish sales of its Galaxy S9 flagship phone. Samsung originally promised the folding Galaxy X would arrive before the end of 2018, but following a delay rumours expected it to be unveiled sometime in February.

In January, reports claimed that Samsung was looking to set the Galaxy X launch this December or early 2019.

Expectations are high for Samsung's foldable phone, which provides a bigger display experience when not folded.

Ice Universe, a leaker who has done a terrific job spoiling Samsung secrets, thinks the Galaxy S10 won't come in January as expected, because Samsung might unveil the Galaxy X at the CES 2019 trade show in Las Vegas. The device might make it to the market in March 2019. However, it looks like the company might be changing a key element of the device. Furthermore, the report asserts that the Samsung SDI is developing a foldable phone with V-shaped battery.
