Angelina Jolie Alleges That Brad Pitt Has Not Paid Enough Child Support

"Given that the informal arrangements around the payment of the children's expense has not been regularly sustained by Respondent for over a year and a half, petitioner intends to file an RFO for the establishment of a retroactive child support order", the court documents read.

People close to Pitt think that Jolie pre-emptively filed the papers as a warning shot, because Pitt had told her he wanted to restart the formal divorce process.

The declarations came in a request for a case-management hearing filed Tuesday by Jolie Pitt's attorneys in Los Angeles Superior Court.

"Angelina is not in need of money and could easily put a payment plan together for child support with Brad without this aggressive approach, but this is the way she chooses to handle things", the source continues.

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's divorce is not getting any easier.

The divorce filing, citing irreconcilable differences, triggered a bitter custody dispute during which Pitt was investigated and cleared of child abuse.

In court documents filed as part of the ongoing divorce drama between the former couple, attorneys for the 43-year-old actress alleged Pitt hadn't paid "meaningful" child support since the separation.

Pitt and Jolie have three sons and three daughters, ages 17 and under. He was also accused and then acquitted of child abuse - the initial cause of their separation back in 2016.

It's unclear, however, what "meaningful" support means in this context, as their "informal" agreement, as her lawyer describes, has yet to be made public. Blake Griffin is the most recent of the child support payouts, having to pay approximately $32,000 a month for his two children, per a report by TMZ.

Brad and Angelina announced their split in September 2016 and while their separation initially seemed amicable, the divorce battle has been dragging on for almost two years.
