Chelsea Midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko Set To Join AC Milan On Loan

Tiemoue Bakayoko was present in games during Chelsea's pre-season but has left Maurizio Sarri unimpressed.

Tiemoue Bakayoko is close to finalising his loan move to AC Milan, reports Sky Sports.

The 23- year-old France global move to Stamford Bridge from dethroned Ligue 1 Champion Monaco one year ago, but he regularly found himself criticised for some of his performances by the Blues fans.

Although Maurizio Sarri's new Chelsea isn't expected to move for another transfer, a potential Thibaut Courtois move to Real Madrid would see the Blues moving for his replacement, now thought to be Kepa Arrizabalaga.

Chelsea have completed a season-long loan move for Real Madrid midfielder Mateo Kovacic. Yet he was not able to satisfy the Chelsea bosses of his reliability as he had a dodgy first season.

United rebuff Barcelona's Pogba swap offer
Man United's club-record signing was reportedly upset with Jose Mourinho's comments about him after France won the World Cup . Some deals were completed on Tuesday, with Burnley signing former England number one Joe Hart and Derby striker Matej Vydra .

Bakayoko did not feature for Chelsea in last Sunday's Community Shield defeat by Manchester City.

According to Calciomercato.com, Milan are only "a few details" away from bringing in Bakayoko, with Chelsea securing his replacement in the form of Kovacic from Real Madrid.

With Milan leading the race for Bakayoko, Everton's interest appears to be dependent on whether or not they land Zouma.

"This is a new era, with a new manager and I've had a very good conversation with him, so I hope we can enjoy a lot of victories".
