Bill Clinton brings laughter and tears with Aretha Franklin anecdotes

The 76-year-old singer, beloved by millions around the world, died of cancer on August 16, closing the curtain on a glittering six-decade career that spanned gospel, R&B, jazz, blues and even classical music.

Floral arrangements from such singers as Barbra Streisand and Tony Bennett and from the family of Otis Redding, whose "Respect" Franklin transformed and made her signature song, were set up in a hallway outside the sanctuary.

The Mayor of Detroit also announced Friday his intentions to rename the city's largest outdoor music venue the Aretha Franklin Park.

The star gave her final performance last November at a gala in NY held in aid of the Elton John Aids Foundation.

Letters from George W. Bush and Barack Obama were read out, praising her contribution to America.

Robinson ended his time on stage by saying to Franklin, "I will love you forever".

In a new tweet, Musk asked a Twitter user "You don't think it's odd he hasn't sued me?" "And Musk, I hear you", she concluded. Musk's weird allegation came after Unsworth accused Musk of using the Thai cave rescue ordeal to stage a publicity stunt.

Powerhouse performances by Faith Hill, Ariana Grande, and Jennifer Hudson brought the thousands of people in attendance to their feet. "She worked for us".

While walking into the funeral, Knight told local station WDIV that she "had the same disease" as Franklin. Franklin's name and the title "Queen of Soul" are embroidered into the champagne-colored velvet lining the interior. "She took the gift God gave her and she kept getting a little bigger everyday", said Clinton, playing a snatch of her singing "Think" on his cell phone.

Franklin won 18 Grammy awards and was feted for her civil rights work, raising money for the cause and inspiring activists with her anthems.

When the service ends, dozens of pink Cadillacs will lead a processional to the cemetery. She hit every single note with precision!

She sang at three presidential inaugural events: inauguration concerts for President Jimmy Carter in 1977 and President Bill Clinton in 1993.
