A former Barcelona boss, there was plenty of speculation that Enrique's appointment would spell the end of Ramos' global involvement.

"I love playing against England, at's flawless", he said enthusiastically.

"I like adrenalin so I love the prospect of playing England here at Wembley which is the ideal place", Sky Sports quotes Luis Enrique as saying ahead of Spain's clash with England.

Ramos said that it was the job of the current squad to restore Spain to the heights that saw them triumph in three consecutive worldwide tournaments - the European championships of 2008 and 2012 and the World Cup of 2010.

But Spain crashed out on penalties to hosts Russian Federation in the last 16 and will now be looking to build under new manager Luis Enrique.

"He brought through young players when he was in charge of the first-team at Barcelona and he also developed as a young player himself with the national team, so I think he's a good link between the top level of competition and the use of young players".

He criticized the newspaper for printing the column and said the Times should reveal its source for reasons of national security. On its podcast "The Daily", Dao said he was approached by someone he trusted about publishing the article.

Now, Ramos has come on his defence and says that he is really concerned about the hatred Liverpool supporters have on him. I never wanted to hurt an opponent on the pitch, of course, so my conscience is really clear about what I did that night. And they are set to give a tough fight to the 2010 World Champions.

"I'm delighted to have him and I hope he stays with us for many years and he keeps pushing his team-mates - on and off the pitch - to victory".

"He has great personality and presence". We want to absorb Enrique's knowledge."It is a new coach which always demands more attention".

The Manchester United man made a number of mistakes playing for his country in the build-up and during the 2018 FIFA World Cup. "We had to find clues and solve riddles", Isco told a news conference on Thursday.

Isco hits back at the journalist regarding Spain's FIFA World Cup failure.

"I have already spoken about evolving the model in my presentation and that is what we are working on". Then we see if we are efficient enough.
