Google details Titan M custom security chip in Pixel 3

As you may recall, earlier this year we began locking phones until they were initially activated on the Verizon network to prevent theft and protect employees. Hopefully its partnership with Samsung proves to be a lucrative one, as many have already praised the crisp colour over the blue hue found on the Pixel 3's predecessor.

Verizon being the "exclusive" carrier for the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL is a bit of an annoyance because it reduces the options for getting the phones in a store and with incentives from other carriers. The EMI amount includes your monthly Airtel calling and data costs, be it prepaid or postpaid. EMI for both the variants comes at Rs 3,999 per month for 18 months. This is unusual because the larger Pixel has a bigger battery, but what comes into play here also is the higher resolution and bigger power draw from the larger screen that obviously takes more power. The major difference between the display panels of the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL, apart from their display sizes, is the presence of a notch on the latter.

The first to do so is the trusty iFixit, and while digging through the Pixel 3 XL's innards didn't result in any groundbreaking discoveries, there are still a few interesting changes compared to the last generation of Pixel phones.

That said, Google packed in some impressive new features and capabilities to make them nearly Pixel flawless . The Pixel 3 has two screen sizes - 5.5 inches and 6.3 inches - but identical features and performance.

Verizon says that it will unlock your Pixel 3 overnight on the same day you activate it, but it's still an annoying extra hurdle for folks hoping to pick up Google's latest phone at their local retailer in hopes of immediately using it with their SIM card of choice.

The camera gear is also common, with a 12.2MP rear camera that improves over the camera on the Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL, but for some reason ditches a depth sensor. The battery on the Pixel 3 is a 2915mAh Li-Ion unit, while the Pixel 3 XL gets a larger 3430mAh battery.
