Powerball numbers drawn for $750M jackpot

Wednesday's winning Powerball numbers were 2, 21, 45, 53 and 56 with a Powerball of 22.

It could be the fourth largest in United States lottery history and the game's third largest jackpot.

The New Jersey hospital workers who helped an elderly patient become a Mega Millions lottery victor told Inside Edition they wanted to do something special for him.

The odds of matching all five numbers and the Powerball is 1 in 292 million. Winners have 180 days from the date of the drawing to claim their prize. Lottery officials said the winning tickets were sold in Arizona, Florida, Kentucky, New Jersey, New York, Oregon, and Wisconsin. It's not immediately clear if there is a victor for the fourth-largest jackpot in US history.

Procopsis' win comes after the $1.5 billion Mega Millions jackpot was claimed earlier this week in SC.

Adrian Martinez hit Stanley Morgan Jr. for a 35-yard TD and passed to him again for a 2-point conversion to make it 36-22. Ivory Kelly-Martin ran for 98 yards for Iowa, which had its first shutout since a 28-0 victory at IL two years ago.

The last Powerball winning jackpot was August 11.

A retired veteran, Raymond Heft of Madison, is the lucky victor of the $1 million Powerball drawing from Wednesday, Oct. 24. Powerball lottery tickets are sold in 44 states, Washington D.C., Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

Cooper says the victor will owe the state $80 million in taxes if the full prize is paid out in annual installments. They ended up winning a million bucks.

In the four days leading up to the drawing, about 370 million of the $2 Mega Millions tickets were sold in 44 USA states, the District of Columbia and the Virgin Islands.
