Fortnite to introduce Heavy Assault Rifle

"Allowing our players to represent their favourite teams in the game was too cool of an opportunity for us to pass up, and we couldn't be happier with how they turned out".

The new Heavy AR assault rifle has now been added to Battle Royale mode, following it being teased on the in-game news feed earlier in the week. It can be found in Rare, Epic and Legendary variants and deals 44/46/48 damage respectively. Available in rare, epic, and legendary, the weapon is created to be high damage, but low accuracy, used in short bursts of fire.

The new weapon landing in Fortnite this week is the Heavy Assault Rifle.

In addition to the outfits, you can expect to see new gliders, emotes, and pickaxe skins with an National Football League theme. The uniforms will be accompanied by a Limited-Time Mode, Blitz, which speeds up the usual battle royale action.

Jamie Carragher singles out Shkodran Mustafi for criticism after Arsenal v Liverpool
"You can see from each player we're giving [a major] shift in work and the intensity", the Arsenal academy graduate said. Mustafi has played every minute this season but one former Premier League defender is not terribly impressed.

The football craziness isn't just for skins, however. Details of which you'll find on the Epic Games website. You'll also be able to add a number to the outfit you pick. Meanwhile, nearly 63-percent of the 78 million Fortnite players mentioned earlier, fall between 18- and 24-years old. It's a great time to never stop playing Fortnite. Speaking of a fight to the death, don't forget you have to finish the game in order to receive credit in many cases. A crystal-like butterfly then flies in over each of the players, the player's character reaches out to touch it and then one more white light overtakes the screen. Players also get extra loot and resources. This world-changing, one-time event started on November 4.

The Team Terror is a new Limited-time Event wherein two teams of 32 players will battle against each other with the goal of wiping out the opposing side.

For the remaining Fortnite 6.22 Update Patch Notes (Fortnite 1.91 PS4), which mostly consist of bug fixes and other minor (but still very much appreciated!) fixes, head on over to the Epic Games page.
